There are times when you spend a year planning your perfect wedding and then there are times that you meet that love and know that it is the one, you run away to the mountain to get married in a very private elopement and spend an afternoon with a photographer capturing images to share with friends and family. It is so fun to hear all my clients stories about how they meet and fall in love. Our hike from one location to another is always a good time to really get to know who they are.
Getting the opportunity to photograph is different places at different times of the day brings inspiration when you have been photographing in the same valley for 20 years. A ride around the mountain in later afternoon with the Schuetz gave some great inspiration for light and the most beautiful views. What a fun night. I love all the images from the this session and who wouldn’t with little Zoya being the shinning light in all of them. 🙂
I remember senior portraits being a big deal in my life. I was shy and quiet, if you can believe that. Working with senior always brings back those memories for me. Such a fun and exciting time in our independence really grows in the following years. Veda was super fun to work with and didn’t seem to mind my crazy bushwhacking to get the best view and some good light. Thanks for the fun day, Veda!!
Sarah White-Crane is so full of love. Love for music and those who enjoy music. She brought some great ideas to the plate for this session, which was so much fun to photograph in my Oak Creek studio. Being comfortable in font of the camera is not for everyone, but defiantly for Sarah, same goes for her on stage performance! Thanks Sarah for a great session.
